They act as teachers of Portuguese, Spanish and their respective Literature in Elementary and High School; As advisors to public and private bodies, with regard to the production and revision of texts in Portuguese and in Spanish; As self-employed or hired professionals, in industrial, commercial and other institutions, teaching courses; providing advice or consultancy in the area of language; in proofreading services for magazines, newspapers, films, videos, etc., in technical advice, as authors or reviewers; as researchers.

They contribute to the development of competences and skills in the most diverse intellectual contexts, through the appropriation of languages, whether Portuguese or Spanish, used for the production of messages. They also engage in analytical and critical reflection on language as a psychological, educational, historical, political, ideological or literary phenomenon.
